In the world there is sorrow and pleasure
Neither of which can you measure,
Big surprise, only one is treasured

You can’t know your true happiness
Unless you have endured pain
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again,
pain is love in vain

Does not the seed endure
Lonely months of sunless days
And doesn’t peek out until it is sure
That the sun is back- back to stay

And now it is a flower!
Because it endured!
It wasn’t sour,
Because it was sure

I drew the above picture on the way to a hockey game. Our team won 1-0.
